1. Experience with working with clients or organizations within the Navy or other military branches
2. Ability to understand technical, managerial, and policy issues and to evaluate wireless technology, including LMR, WLAN, WiMAX, 2.5/3/4G networks, and RFID in order to bridge the gap between the technical and business functions
3. Knowledge of satellite communications fundamentals and architectures a plus
4. Knowledge of radio frequency spectrum regulations from the NTIA and FCC a plus
5. BS degree in EE or Systems Engineering
6. Knowledge of UAV wireless systems a strong plus

• Implementing hardware design including digital, analog and mixed-signal circuits on Circuit Card Assemblies (CCA). Design for quality, testing and manufacturability
• Development of schematics, layouts, CCA simulation, fabrication files, bills of material
• Digital circuit design including high-speed timing analysis, data bus implementations, and memory interfaces
• FPGA and microprocessor design / programming
• Write and maintain concise design and test documentation
• In a team setting, take projects from conception to prototype to production, and post-production support
• Develop specifications and architectures, prototypes, test plans, test reports
QUALIFICATIONS
• 5 or more years experience and a proven track record in quality analog and digital circuit design, layout, testing to board development
• Experience with design of CCD sensor circuits preferred
• Experience in FPGA and microprocessor design / programming
• Must be self-motivated and exhibit a drive and energy level to successfully meet all goals against compressed schedules without sacrificing quality or integrity
